Firstly a disk image is created for optical disc with full file system. Disc image is single file stored on hard drive which is burned to the disc. Creating disc image is time consuming and most of programs burn in single bundled operation. The packet writing applications burn CD without writing entire disc and work in parts at time just as floppy disk. Optical disc authoring technologies are processes which prevent errors. Some optical disc recorders require software called burning applications or burner applications. Software is sold along with recorder and few operating systems as Linux come bundled with them.
